                               Alfred Nobel

 One day, a Swedish newspaper accidentally published a news that the inventor of Dynamite's death had died.  This news was printed by mistake, that person was not dead.  When that person got up in the morning and read this news, he was filled with self-pity. After his death, people did not want him to know this.  After this, he devoted his entire life to noble works, he devised all his capital by donating it.  It is from this capital that the Swedish government bestows the world famous Nobel Prize.  This man was the great scientist Alfred Nobel.

 Education - This incident teaches us that we should dedicate ourselves to humanity so that people can remember us as a good person.  The Nobel Prize began in 1901.  Earlier, it was given in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Medical Sciences, Literature and Peace.  From 1969, it started being given in the field of economics as well.  Ravindra Nath Tagore was the first Asian and the first Indian to receive this award.

एक बार नेल्सन मंडेला एक बार एक रेस्टोरेंट में भोजन करने गये. उनके साथ उनके सुरक्षाकर्मी भी थे. इस समय मंडेला दक्षिण अफ्रीका के राष्ट्रपति बन चुके थे. मंडेला जाकर एक टेबल पर बैठ गये और भोजन का आर्डर देकर भोजन का इंतजार करने लगे. पास ही की एक टेबल पर एक व्यक्ति बैठा हुआ था जो मंडेला को देखकर काँप रहा था और उनसे नजरें चुरा रहा था. मंडेला ने अपने सुरक्षाकर्मी से कहा उसे भी यहाँ बुला लो वह अकेला बैठा हुआ है. सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने उसे भी बुला लिया. खाना आया सभी ने खाना शुरू किया. वह व्यक्ति भी डरते हुए चुपचाप नीचे मुँह कर भोजन करता रहा और भोजन समाप्त कर चुपचाप वहाँ से चला गया. उसके जाने के बाद एक सुरक्षकर्मी ने मंडेला से कहा कि वह आपके राष्ट्रपति होने के कारण सम्मानवश आपसे डरा हुआ था. मंडेला ने कहा ऐसा नहीं है. रंगभेद विरोधी आंदोलन के दौरान मैं जिस जेल में बंद था वह उस जेल का जेलर था. वहाँ मूझे काफी यातनाएँ दी जाती थीं. जब कभी मूझे प्यास लगती और मैं पानी की माँग करता तो वह मेरे मुँह में पेशाब कर देता था. उसे लगा मैं भी उसके साथ वही व्यवहार करूँगा इसी कारण वह काँप रहा था और उसकी निगाहें झुकी हु...
